Bruno Fernandes was ridiculed by a fan after scoring in Manchester United’s 3-2 victory over Arsenal.
Fernandes kicked off the 2021-22 season with a hat trick against Leeds United, but he has struggled in front of goal in recent weeks.
The Portugal international, who was making his 100th United appearance against Arsenal, scored late in the first half to break a 15-game goal drought.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice in the second half, either side of a Martin Odegaard goal, to give United all three points.
After the game, Fernandes was driving home from Old Trafford when he came across some Arsenal fans in the car next to him.
A member of the group managed to gain his attention and informed the midfielder that he was not on his Fantasy Football team.
“Mohamed Salah all the way man, I’m sorry he takes up all my money,” the fan answered when Fernandes asked who he had instead.
The 27-year-old, on the other hand, took everything in stride, mockingly flinging his hands in the air before driving away.
