Player prefer Man United to Arsenal but both clubs in battle to sign Serie A star, deal could cost £13m

According to Tuttojuve, Arsenal and Manchester United could compete for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot's free transfer this summer.

At the start of the season, the Frenchman was on the verge of joining Manchester United from Juventus. The teams agreed on transferring money, but United did not finalize personal terms.

Rabiot ended up staying with the Turin Giants and has had an outstanding season thus far. From central midfield, he has scored 10 goals and contributed 4 assists in 35 appearances.

According to Tuttojuve, Rabiot is poised to leave Juventus when his contract expires in June.

Arsenal and Manchester United, according to the report, are “ready to go on the offensive” to sign him this summer. They can reportedly sign him for a signing bonus of between £9 and £13 million.

Rabiot was a non-factor at the start of the season, and Juventus were eager to get rid of him. However, he has improved his fortunes this season.

The Frenchman has been one of the top center midfielders in Serie A. He was also a member of the France team that almost missed defending their World Cup title.

As a result, he has done a number of things correctly in recent months, and a number of great European clubs will be lining up to recruit him when his contract ends this summer.

Rabiot has previously stated his desire to play in the Premier League, which should give Arsenal and United a significant advantage in acquiring his services on a free transfer.

Arsenal has been associated with Rabiot since his academy days at Paris Saint-Germain, and there has been ongoing speculation that they could sign him.

The London giants may eventually make a move to sign him, although they will face competition from Manchester United. Last summer, United manager Erik ten Hag was determined to sign Rabiot and even made a phone call.
