Manchester United supporters are anxious for Declan Rice to join the club this summer.
During West Ham’s Europa League quarter-final second leg away at Lyon, the England international scored the team’s second goal. The 23-year-old was spotted sprinting over to the away fans and kissing the badge, which has enraged Hammers supporters.
However, it has piqued United fans’ interest, since the club is considering a move for the youngster. United are looking for at least one central midfielder, with Paul Pogba’s contract set to expire at the end of the season.
Rice is a favorite selection among United fans. Following his goal on Thursday evening, their desire to see him wear a red shirt next season grew even stronger.
Erik ten Hag is expected to take over as manager of the club in time for next season, and he will be on the lookout for fresh players as part of his overhaul. Rice’s fans praised him on Twitter, urging United and Ten Hag to sign him.
