Manchester United ‘threatens Barcelona’ over Frenkie de Jong price tag

Manchester United has threatened to pull out of talks to sign Frenkie de Jong if Barcelona does not lower their asking price for the player (h/t Miguel Sanz Sport).

For the transaction, the Blaugrana are seeking €100 million in fixed and add-on fees. Man United, on the other hand, will not spend more than €80 million.

As a result, both sides are at a standstill as the story unfolds.
