Man Utd have outbid club to sign ‘fantastic’ £50million play breaker

The Sun exclusively revealed last month that the Old Trafford club will launch another bid for the £50 million-rated playmaker from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

O Jogo (press image below) recently stated that the Molineux outfit want to sign Palhinha, and Bruno Lage wants to complete the transfer of Neves in order to do so.

According to a Portuguese news source, Barcelona is interested in luring the Seleccao midfielder, who would welcome a move to the Nou Camp. Man United, on the other hand, has outbid Barcelona for his services.

The 20-time English champions are said to have made a significantly stronger offer than the Catalan giants, who also have an appealing payment method for Wolves.

The former Porto captain is a strong defensive midfielder who can also distribute the ball great distances and produce spectacular long-range goals.

Under Nuno Espirito Santo, the Portuguese star, who won the UEFA Nations League in 2019, scored four goals and added two assists in the previous campaign.

Ferdinand, an Old Trafford icon, is a huge supporter of Neves and believes he is a “wonderful” midfielder (FIVE).

Next season, we’ll really need a play-breaker. Matic has been our defensive midfielder of choice for the past two seasons, but the experienced Serbian has mostly sat on the bench and will go this month.
