If Manchester United and Arsenal get through Thursday’s last-16 second legs, they won’t have to wait long to find out their Europa League fate. United has already qualified for the quarter-finals after defeating Real Betis, but Arsenal faces a more difficult proposition when Sporting Lisbon visits the Emirates Stadium.
Erik ten Hag’s side leads 4-1 after a defeat at Old Trafford last week, leaving Betis in need of a miracle to salvage the tie.
Meanwhile, Arsenal came from behind to salvage a 2-2 draw in Lisbon, meaning they only need to win at home to advance.
In other matches, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise against Union Berlin and Feyenoord vs Shakhtar Donetsk are both tied at 3-3 after first-leg draws.
Bayer Leverkusen (vs. Ferencvaros), AS Roma (vs. Real Sociedad), and Sevilla (vs. Fenerbache) all hold two-goal leads, while Juventus leads Freiburg 1-0 ahead of their trip to Germany.
Express Sport has all the information you need ahead of the Europa League quarter-final… and semi-final… draws.
When will the draw take place?
At 12 p.m. on Friday, March 17, UEFA will complete the Europa League quarter-final draw from the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.
