The club recently got a revised £30 million bid from the East London club, and it has been suggested that they may consider selling him for roughly £35 million.

Todibo is one of the top names on United’s radar to replace the England international, and Mundo Deportivo reports that the club is most keen’ on signing him.

A transfer for the defender to Old Trafford would also benefit Barcelona, who included a 20% sell-on clause when selling the Frenchman to Nice in the summer of 2021.

Todibo’s transfer to United is contingent on Maguire’s departure.

West Ham are close to fulfilling Maguire’s asking price, but United face another stumbling hurdle in compensating their former captain.

The 30-year-old is presently earning £190,000 per week, but the Hammers are only prepared to offer him £100,000 per week. The Red Devils may need to pay him a large sum of money.

If United are successful in completing his deal, they might immediately focus on acquiring Todibo, who was first linked with a move to Old Trafford in 2019.

Over the past year, the 23-year-old has been one of the greatest center-backs in France’s top flight.

Last season, he averaged 57 passes per game with an accuracy rate of 89%. On average, the ex-Barcelona player won 2.2 tackles, 4.4 duels, and 3.1 clearances.

Todibo is perfectly suited to the Premier League’s high intensity. In counter-attacking scenarios, he has the ability to recover. In the most recent season, he recovered 7.67 balls per outing.

Nice is currently valued at about £39 million. He is a no-brainer signing for United at that price. Todibo is only 23 years old and has the potential to become a regular starter for the Red Devils in the long run.
