Despite the fact that Arsenal has gone unbeaten in their first five Premier League games and are top of the standings, United couldn’t have selected a better moment to meet them.

Mikel Arteta must find a method to properly manage his squad while dealing with multiple significant injuries. However, goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has been ruled out, and midfield trio Martin Odegaard, Thomas Partey, and Mohamed Elneny have all been injured.

In terms of the Red Devils’ own selection problems, manager Erik ten Hag must decide whether or not new addition Antony makes his debut.

Fans are naturally excited to see the Brazilian in action after his £85 million move from Ajax earlier this week.

However, after missing Ajax’s last three games after ruling himself out in an attempt to force a move to Old Trafford, Antony may take some time to adjust.

Concerning the winger’s chances of appearing on Sunday, ten Hag, as quoted by MEN, remarked on Friday: “Today he performed his first training, individual.” We have a team session tomorrow and another one on Saturday. I’ll consider it, and we’ll make a choice.

“Casemiro is an option, but I need to think about it.”

The match between Manchester United and Arsenal is set to begin at 4.30 p.m. (UK time) and will be carried live on Sky Sports.
