Sofyan Amrabat, a Moroccan international midfielder, is largely expected to be Manchester United’s top target after the deal for striker Rasmus Hojlund is completed.
Amrabat, 26, had previously played under Erik ten Hag at FC Utrecht and is said to be a target if the club is successful in moving Fred or Donny van de Beek, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Reporter Sacha Tavolieri stated yesterday that middlemen are already in England negotiating a trade – and now Amrabat is joining them.
This weekend, Amrabat will be in England.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Sofyan Amrabat will be part of the Fiorentina team heading into England for a friendly encounter this weekend.
Fiorentina will play Newcastle at St James Park on Saturday at 3.30pm.
According to the Italian press, the Serie A club has yet to receive an offer from Manchester United, so Amrabat will remain a Manchester United player until then.
