Anthony Martial, a Manchester United striker, appears to have made it clear that he wants a chance to prove himself at the club next season.
Last season, the Frenchman had a disastrous season, playing for Man United in the first half of the season and then on loan at Sevilla in the second half. Martial was sent on loan to Sevilla in January after struggling under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the first half of last season.
However, he failed to live up to the initial excitement surrounding his move to Spain, scoring just two goals in his combined appearances for both clubs.
With Erik ten Hag in charge at Old Trafford, Martial has been given another chance to show his worth. The French World Cup champion joined United as the world’s most expensive teenager, but his time at Old Trafford has never lived up to that hype.
Despite being one of the players predicted to be moved on from Old Trafford this season, he has fought back, indicating that he wants to continue in the Premier League. When pre-season begins, the Frenchman has made it plain that he expects he will return to United under Ten Hag.
“Right now, I’m in great shape.” I was able to recover from the injury, which was a complicated one that took a long time to heal, but I’m doing much better today. Martial told ABC Sevilla, “I’ve been very careful to be able to return and be available to the team as soon as possible, which is why I opted to come to Sevilla.”

I know I can play at a better level, and I strive hard to achieve it, but the language barrier is making it tough for me to adjust to a new club and a new location.
Meanwhile, according to the Athletic through the Daily Express, ten Hag aims to monitor Anthony Martial closely during the preseason.
