On Sunday, Garnacho came off the bench to replace Jadon Sancho in the 73rd minute. He was soon compelled to seek medical attention after being entangled between Kyle Walker-Peters’ legs.

The child tried to continue and returned to the pitch, but he was eventually replaced with a minute of normal time remaining. He then walked down the tunnel and out of the stadium on crutches.

The degree of Garnacho’s injury is unknown, although Erik ten Hag was asked after the game for an update on the player.

Ten Hag stated to MUTV: “Yeah, he made a poor tackle. His ankle had become twisted. I didn’t want to take the chance, so I removed him.”

Garnacho has made 15 Premier League appearances this season, four of which have been starts. The 18-year-old is close to extending his stay at Old Trafford with a fresh contract.
