According to one analyst, Casemiro has all the tools he needs to adjust to the Premier League and offer genuine grit to Manchester United's midfield.

Following a protracted search for a midfielder, the Red Devils paid £70 million to bring the Brazilian to Old Trafford. Manager Erik ten Hag wanted Frenkie de Jong at first, but a deal proved tough to come by.

After United’s season got off to a shaky start with two defeats in a row, the club tightened the screws and signed Casemiro instead.

The 30-year-old has yet to start for his new club in the Premier League. Scott McTominay has retained his spot on the team. One commentator recently suggested that if Casemiro continued to play a little role, he could question Ten Hag’s techniques.

However, Graham Hunter, a Spanish football specialist, believes Casemiro will make an immediate impact. Hunter, who observed the midfielder at Real Madrid, believes he will do well.

“Unique is a big term, but Real Madrid’s approach is so distinct that it’s hard for Casemiro to play exactly like he did during his glory years with them,” the analyst added.

“I don’t think he’ll be asked to play that manner at United, though.”

“I’m optimistic that he’ll adjust to his surroundings. He’s shown to be a true champion. He has been a key member of a Real Madrid team that has been competitive in La Liga and the Champions League for a long time.”

Hunter said that Casemiro has a “tremendous competitive character” and “very quickly understands defensive situations.”

In terms of discipline, the expert pointed out that the midfielder has only received two yellow cards in his career.

Casemiro has received an exciting verdict.

“He is a player who will surely balance making a foul and the larger cost, but calling him a filthy player is completely incorrect,” Hunter remarked in an interview with United’s official website.

“He’s only been sent off twice, and the first time was for refusing to back up for a free kick, so he’s not a dirty player.”

“In midfield, he adds street smarts and guts, he’s got a good body, he’s pretty damn good aerially at both ends, so he’s extremely well prepared.”

“The Premier League can be buzz-bomb relentless, so it takes time for any player to adapt, whether they’re magical like Casemiro or not; but United have obviously got the ideal guy for aggression, mindset, and spirit.”

Casemiro appeared in 336 games for Real Madrid, scoring 31 goals and assisting 29 others.

Among other things, the Brazil international was instrumental in winning five Champions League titles and three La Liga titles.

The Manchester United deal has sparked controversy.

United’s transfer strategy has been criticized in previous years, and the Casemiro move has also raised concerns.

He is not a long-term option at 30 years old who can take over the midfield role and dominate for years. That is exactly what the Brazilian has done with Real Madrid.

But, after proving his worth for so long, United are getting the final product, who is already at the peak of his game. That implies he’ll be able to strike the ground running.

United needed someone like that, someone who could come in and make an immediate difference. Their midfield was in disarray last season, and Casemiro has brought some much-needed experience.

He will be aware that opportunities to start games will continue to present themselves. United have a hectic Europa League schedule from Thursday to Sunday, with Casemiro starting against Real Sociedad on Thursday.

However, he will soon be looking to get his fangs into the Premier League.

And once he settles in, United will be hoping to get the best out of a player who continues to receive high praise.
