Manchester United have included Luke Shaw in their team for Thursday night’s Europa League group stage match against FC Sheriff, but five players remain missing.
Luke Shaw has returned to the team after missing two of the last three games due to a minor foot injury, while Donny van de Beek, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Marcus Rashford are all out after failing to show up for Wednesday’s training session.
Because Anthony Martial is still out with an Achilles injury and Martin Dubravka has not been to Moldova, FA Youth Cup-winning goalkeeper Radek Vitek has been called up.
Wan-Bissaka was named to the bench for last week’s loss to Sociedad but appeared in the directors’ box just before kick-off, while Rashford was absent entirely. Van de Beek missed Arsenal’s triumph and Sociedad’s defeat.
Right-back Marc Jurado, 18, took part in United’s training session on Wednesday morning after joining the first team earlier in the week, although he is not in the traveling squad.
