Following Argentina’s penalty shootout triumph over France on Sunday, Manchester United now have a World Cup winner on their side. Lisandro Martinez, a center-back, made five appearances for his country throughout the tournament and currently owns a World Cup winner’s medal.

Martinez will most likely be granted time off to celebrate and return to South America. This means he won’t play when Manchester United takes on Burnley in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

He is expected to be in Ten Hag’s squad for the Red Devils’ next Premier League fixture. On Tuesday, December 27, they will face Nottingham Forest.

Much has been made of Ten Hag’s January transfer ambitions, with the Dutchman wanting to improve the squad following a good summer.

And Romano has added to the confusion by disclosing what will happen at right-back.

The Manchester Evening News reported on Monday that West Ham had tracked down Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Due to his lack of attacking danger, the 25-year-old has little chance of making it under Ten Hag. As a result, he is free to depart from Old Trafford.

Romano has commented on Wan-condition. Bissaka’s He claims that the race for his signature is wider than only West Ham. Wolves and Crystal Palace in the Premier League are also ‘interested’ in signing the Englishman this winter.

Man United wants to ‘find a solution’ for outcasts.
Man United is letting Wan-Bissaka leave in order to ‘find a solution’ for him. They do not want to jeopardize his career by benching him for the next few seasons.

Romano also reveals what would happen to Wan-teammate, Bissaka’s Diogo Dalot. Ten Hag has been impressed by him this campaign and is working for the club to extend his contract as a ‘priority’. ‘Discussions with Dalot will take place soon,’ Romano said.

The Portugal World Cup star’s contract expires at the conclusion of the season. Man United does, however, have a 12-month extension option.

Ten Hag intends to arrange new terms because he has received interest from Barcelona in recent months. These will greatly diminish Barcelona’s chances of capturing Dalot. If they do, they will have to spend a lot of money on him.

In addition, Manchester United could recruit a new right-back in January. Ten Hag apparently has a three-man want list for the position, which includes Lyon’s Malo Gusto, Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong, and Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries.

Manchester United may make an offer for one or both of these full-backs next month. They’d arrive in Manchester to compete with and support Dalot.
