Fabrizio Romano Delivers Crucial Update On United’s £15m Transfer Target
According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United’s aim of signing Juventus midfielder, Adrien Rabiot has hit a brick wall after talks broke down between the Red Devils and the player over personal terms.
In a tweet posted a few minutes ago, Fabrizio reveals that United has sent a message to Juventus, informing them that the deal is ‘completely off’.

It is understood that Rabiot’s ‘outrageous’ wage demands may have been the reason for the deal falling through, despite the club having reached an agreement with Juventus for the 27-year-old.
Sources close to the club claim that the midfielder is demanding to be made one of the highest-paid players in the Ten Hag’s team, with a deal similar to Bruno Fernandez’s £240k-a-week wages said to be what Rabiot is asking for.
With a deal for the 27-year-old now off the table, the Red Devils have now turned their attention to other targets, including Casemiro (Real Madrid), Moises Caicedo (Brighton), and Youri Tielemans (Leicester).
However, with less than two weeks left in the transfer window, it remains to be seen how quickly the club can land any of the above-mentioned targets.
