Former Manchester City defender Shay Logan was videotaped fighting another man in a street brawl outside a chip restaurant.

Logan, who also played for Brentford, is best known for his time at Aberdeen, which lasted from 2014 to 2021. And it was in the Scottish city that the altercation involving Logan and another man was captured on video.

Onlookers who filmed the brawl can be heard cheering on Logan, and his name is uttered several times. Logan’s opponent is shown being knocked to his knees before other bystanders intervene to separate the two.

Logan uploaded an image of his face on Instagram on Sunday with the comment, “talk s*** get banged.”

Cove Rangers, Logan’s current job, has been approached for comment.

Logan is not the first person to get embroiled in scandal in Scotland.

He was investigated by the club in 2020 while working as a part-time plumber for the Dons for abusing another plumber. During the claims, a note surfaced that stated, “I’ve lived a life you can only dream of because of my work, P.S you’re a c***.”

Logan had received backlash the year before for dressing up like Celtic’s Scott Brown for a stag do in Tenerife.

Logan began his youth career at Manchester City and has made one Premier League debut, playing the full 90 minutes against Portsmouth in 2009.

The Englishman joined Cove Rangers in the Scottish Championship last summer and has since made 20 appearances for the club.
