With his side chasing their first league title in 35 years, the attacker has 16 goals this season, 12 of which have come in Serie A. As a result, numerous European clubs, notably Manchester United and Arsenal, have expressed interest in the 23-year-old.

However, according to a new source, the striker is unlikely to join either club. Osimhen is unlikely to depart this summer, according to Teamtalk, because his contract does not expire until 2025, giving the team power.

The club has set a £100 million asking price for its star, with no interested parties – including Newcastle – willing to pay that much for him. “I don’t want to waste time talking about this, the situation is ridiculous,” his agent said recently, attempting to quell transfer speculation. “Let’s get on with it and speak about football.”

Meanwhile, Juventus is said to be in talks with Ajax winger Antony’s representation. The player is one of United’s ‘favorites,’ according to Erik ten Hag, and the club would have been in an excellent position to sign him if the Dutch manager had been confirmed as the club’s next manager by now.

However, according to Calciomercato, Antony’s agents are already exploring a possible move to Italy. The 22-year-old is valued at roughly £29 million by Ajax after scoring 12 goals and assisting 10 times this season.

Finally, it is reported that a number of clubs have joined United in the pursuit of Cristian Eriksen. After recuperating from his on-field heart episode at Euro 2020, the Dane has regained his form.

Brentford insist they are confident in extending the 30-year-contract, old’s but United, Tottenham and West Ham are apparently keeping tabs on the playmaker. Newcastle has also put their name in the hat, according to the Northern Echo.

Eriksen is due to depart Brentford on a free transfer until a new contract is signed, and the Magpies are willing to pay him a significant wage increase. United is aware of the situation with the former Spurs player, but he does not appear to be a priority target.
