The Argentine has been extensively connected with a return to the Premier League, where he is reported to be a priority target with Erik ten Hag.

Pochettino was the manager of Southampton before moving on to Tottenham Hotspur, where he was fired a few months after leading his team to the Champions League final.

According to getting French Football News, L’Equipe reports that the manager wants to continue at PSG following their Champions League loss at the hands of Real Madrid.

He will, however, only stay if certain criteria are met.

Pochettino’s contract expires at the conclusion of next season, with a return to the Premier League with Spurs or Man United on the table if Antonio Conte leaves the club.

During a pre-match press conference before PSG’s match against Monaco, the Argentine dodged a question about his future.

Instead, he reiterated that his only priority was to finish the current season, with the club prepared to make a decision at the end of the season.

Another question concerning his future was addressed, and he intimated that he wanted to stay at the club provided he had more input over transfers.

“With the club, we must figure out the best approach to collaborate.” That implies that we need to align our concepts, projects, and approaches,” he explained.

“There are many questions that must be addressed so that a staff like ours and a club like PSG have identical ideals and visions.”

This season, PSG leads Ligue 1 with a 12-point lead over second-placed Marseille.

Given that his job is supposedly in jeopardy, with Zinedine Zidane waiting in the wings, Pochettino is putting himself out there at this point.

According to tier-one journalist David Ornstein, the Red Devils could choose their next permanent manager within the next several weeks.
