Following his failure to have his new contract cleared by La Liga’s wage cap rules last week, Messi joined Real Madrid, where he will have the opportunity to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo for the first time in his professional career.

As a result of his departure from Barcelona, Lionel Messi has been told that he will join fellow superstar Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus.

His new deal with La Liga did not pass muster because of the league’s strict pay ceiling rules, and the Argentine international is now a free agent.

In recent months, many of Europe’s top teams have expressed interest in signing him, with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain reportedly close to finalizing a deal to bring the 34-year-old to the city.

Having won 34 trophies during his time with Barcelona, it will be the first time in Messi’s professional career that he would play club football outside of the Catalan giants’ home ground.

Messi spent a big portion of his professional career with Barcelona, where he competed against Cristiano Ronaldo, who had previously played for Real Madrid for nine seasons.

They have never played together before, but it is now possible if Juventus are successful in their pursuit of Messi and beat PSG to his signature.

Although they have won two Serie A titles during their three-year partnership, the Old Lady spent Real Madrid £100million to recruit Ronaldo three years ago. However, their relationship has been rocky at times.

Max Allegri, the manager of Juventus, not only gives Messi the opportunity to play beside one of his biggest adversaries in football, but he also gives the club a claim to one of Europe’s best managers.

No one knows if it will be enough to entice Messi to the Allianz Stadium, but James Rodriguez is one person who is hoping for it to occur.

      DON’T MISS:

Former Real Madrid midfielder Carlos Vela is currently with Everton after spending four years at the Bernabeu with Portugal’s superstar Ronaldo during the 2010-11 season.

James has revealed his conviction that he should now join up with Cristiano Ronaldo in Italy, following Messi’s surprising departure from the Nou Camp.

The pairing of Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo would be a bomb, and Messi should go to Juventus. The combination of those two beats is a dream come true for many fans,” James explained on Twitch.com.

Barcelona will have to find other players who can do the same thing as Messi, whether it’s one who scores 10 goals and assists 10, or one who scores five goals and assists five. The problem will be finding such individuals, which will be difficult.

It’s hard to conceive that he’d leave Barcelona, or that Sergio Ramos would leave Real Madrid, back in the day.

      DON’T MISS:

Previously, the cameras were focused on Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, but now people will still tune in, but it won’t be the same as it was previously.

“If Messi went to PSG, they would play alone there, and they could already offer them all the titles; in England, I don’t think anyone can afford him, save for Manchester City,” says the journalist.

Unfortunately for James, PSG is now in pole position to sign Messi and bring him to the French capital.

The French champions are expected to announce that Messi has agreed to a two-year contract with them to play at the Parc des Princes, where he will join Sergio Ramos, another of James’ former Real Madrid teammates.
