Thomas Tuchel becomes Manchester United’s No1 managerial target

Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Chelsea, has been widely connected with the role of manager of Manchester United.
According to The Star, United’s newly appointed CEO Richard Arnold is targeting Tuchel in light of Chelsea’s continuous off-field issues.

The rumors began to circulate after Jamie Carragher suggested in a Telegraph editorial that a United offer would be too good to pass up. The former Liverpool defender then called Chelsea fans hypocrites in response to their criticism.

Chelsea, on the other hand, is in desperate need of a new owner after sanctions were imposed on Roman Abramovic in the aftermath of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

According to reports, Chelsea would find it tough to reject a ‘substantial compensation package’ from United for their manager, who has become to the first choice ahead of Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag.

United is said to be impressed with Tuchel’s handling of Chelsea’s problem – saying the right things while focusing on results.

Tuchel’s entourage should inspire the Reds, but I suspect he’ll wait until the summer to see if things improve at Stamford Bridge.
