Kohn began his senior career at RB Leipzig before transferring to Liefering, Salzburg’s reserve squad.

Kohn has just established himself as Salzburg’s number one and has impressed Manchester United scouts.

Manchester United scouts have lately watched him, according to Blue Sport (via The Sun), including during Salzburg’s Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich.

Alongside Dean Henderson likely departing the club, Manchester United may be seeking for a new goalkeeper to compete with De Gea.

According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle are mulling a deal for Henderson as they prepare to spend big this summer.

Ralf Rangnick, the current manager of Manchester United, signed Kohn for RB Leipzig, where he was Sporting Director at the time.

The Swiss goalkeeper has yet to play for his country at the senior level, but he has represented various youth age levels. The 23-year-old represented Germany from the under-15s to the under-18s before moving to Switzerland.
