Raphael Varane volleyed home his first goal for Manchester United, extending their advantage over Brentford to three goals.

Manchester United took a 2-0 lead thanks to strikes from Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes.

Varane added to his tally with a shot from a corner that bounced past Brentford’s goalkeeper. His first goal for the club after signing from Real Madrid in the summer.
