Cristiano Ronaldo has denied that he will be leaving for Saudi Arabian soccer at the end of the World Cup in Qatar, as had recently been reported in various media outlets.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United striker, now without a team after terminating his contract with the Red Devils, has denied in the mixed zone of the Lusail stadium after Portugal’s match against Switzerland (6-1) that he will go to a club in Saudi Arabia.

The newspaper Marca reported that Cristiano Ronaldo was very close to being a player of Al-Nassr from January 1 for the next two seasons in exchange for about 200 million euros per year but the player himself has denied it when he passed in front of journalists, as reported by the Portuguese reporter Nuno Luz on his Twitter account.
