City are one of the few clubs that can afford Pogba’s £200,000-a-week plus salaries, according to the UK Telegraph.

The Frenchman’s contract expires in June, and he appears to be on his way out of Old Trafford for the second time.

Carlos Tevez was the most recent high-profile player to depart United for City.

In the summer of 2009, Tevez was featured on a sky blue “Welcome to Manchester” billboard.

Pogba, on the other hand, is anticipated to hold off on deciding where he will play next season until the end of the season.

United are still desperate to sign him to a new contract.

Pogba returned to Manchester United in August 2016 for a British record £89 million fee and has only won two major club titles since then: the Europa League and the EFL Cup.
