Since joining Manchester United, Raphael Varane has explained how Cristiano Ronaldo has assisted him in settling in.
The pair had previously played together at Real Madrid and were reunited at Old Trafford last summer when they both signed with United during the summer transfer window.
Despite the addition of the two former Real Madrid stars, United has struggled this season, and their anticipated title threat has faded.
Since his return to the club, Ronaldo has been the subject of speculation, with reports circulating that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner does not get along with some of his teammates.
Varane, on the other hand, has painted a totally different picture of Ronaldo since his arrival at the club, telling Canal Plus how the Portugal star has aided him since his arrival.
“Varane added, “We have a great friendship.”
“It’s someone who enjoys sharing and talking about everything he knows about football, as well as physical and mental preparation.
“We are not afraid to discuss everything related to the life of a professional footballer. Playing with him is a fantastic pleasure.

Varane has had an extensive run in the side since the turn of the year, establishing himself as Ralf Rangnick’s first-choice defender at the centre of the backline, after seeing his progress at United impeded by a number of ailments.
“I’m getting better,” Varane said. “It’s true that I’ve been able to have a bit more consistency in training and matches over the last few weeks.”
“I experienced a few hiccups at the beginning of the season, but things are finally looking up. I’m getting more comfortable, speaking a little more English, and getting to know my teammates better.
“We’re nearing the season’s pivotal stage, and we’re all ready to take on the challenges that lie ahead.”
