Manchester United has been photographed training ahead of their trip to Madrid, Spain.
Tomorrow night, Ralf Rangnick’s team will meet Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid in the opening leg of their Champions League last-16 tie at the Wanda Metropolitano.
In his pre-match press conference earlier today, the German coach revealed that Edinson Cavani will not travel to face the reigning La Liga champions.
Aside from the Uruguayan’s absence, the 63-year-old appears to be in good health ahead of the crucial match.
The Reds trained at Carrington earlier today before flying to Madrid later.
In addition to Paul Pogba being blown away by Cristiano Ronaldo’s skill, youngster Hannibal Mejbri has debuted a new haircut.
The Red Devils are coming off back-to-back victories against Brighton and Leeds.
Ronaldo and Raphael Varane, with their Real Madrid links, will be fully aware that they will be returning to the lion’s den.
It will be a tense and hostile atmosphere, but United has the ability to punish an Atletico Madrid side that is currently sixth in La Liga.
Ronaldo, who has repeatedly broken Atletico’s hearts throughout his career, will be hoping to extend his run of scoring in every Champions League game he has played this season.
