(Photo) Lindelof and Elanga celebrate World Cup qualifying win over the Czech Republic
Manchester United duo Anthony Elanga and Victor Lindelof were both spotted after a great win for Sweden last night.
Elanga made his senior international debut for Sweden in extra time against the Czech Republic, while Lindelof started at center-back.
Despite only getting 5 minutes on the pitch, the young forward’s performance is remarkable, and he will now look forward to Sweden’s play-off with Poland for a place at the World Cup.
We’d all prefer to see Elanga play in the World Cup for the first time instead of Robert Lewandowski, even though we know that won’t be popular among football fans.
The 19-year-old took to social media to express his joy at reaching yet another personal milestone, writing: ‘Debut. Win. ‘We’re getting closer to our goal!!!’
Following the full-time whistle, the pair were photographed, as seen below via @svenskfotboll.
