The Red Devils have been connected with a variety of players, but Ten Hag could be poised to raid Ajax and sign one of his former teammates. In other news, United have been advised that if they want to acquire Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa next year, they will have to pay the full release clause, while they will face increased competition for the acquisition of an MLS player.

Ten Hag is planning a second invasion on Ajax.
Despite bringing Lisandro Martinez and Antony to Old Trafford immediately after his arrival, Ten Hag is now exploring a move for Ghana international and World Cup hero Mohammed Kudus.

The 22-year-old has already scored 10 goals and provided two assists for the reigning Eredivisie champions this season and is thought to be open to leaving Amsterdam next year, with Ten Hag on red alert as he looks to improve United’s offensive options in January.

According to The Athletic, Ten Hag admires the Ghana international for his skill and dynamism,’ and the article also adds that a new forward recruit is a ‘priority’ ahead of January. Ajax, on the other hand, could expect a sum of roughly £40 million.

Costa’s conditions were established by United.
Man United are said to be interested in Porto goalkeeper Costa, but have been advised that if they want to acquire him next summer, they must pay his €75 million release clause in full.

The 23-year-old has established himself as one of Europe’s top goalkeepers and is seen as a long-term replacement for David de Gea, whose contract expires at the end of the season. Costa has already appeared 19 times for Porto this season and has started all five of Portugal’s World Cup games.

And, according to the print edition of Correio da Manha, through Sport Witness, a substantial bid of €75 million will be required next summer if United is to capture Costa, with other teams potentially interested as well.

United competed for MLS star
Man United will face stiff competition to sign Chicago Fire and Colombia attacker Jhon Duran, with Benfica becoming the latest team to express interest in his talents.

According to The Sun, the Red Devils have already made inquiries about the 18-year-old, who scored eight goals and assisted five times in 27 games last season and earned his senior debut with Colombia’s national side.

Chelsea has also been linked, but Portuguese publication Record has revealed that Benfica has been added to the list and is intent on signing Duran in the January transfer window, leaving United with little time to act.
