Luke Shaw equalized for England against Switzerland at the conclusion of the first half, repeating his Euro 2020 heroics.
Kyle Walker-Peters intercepted the ball after some strong pressure from Phil Foden, and the resulting loose ball fell to Conor Gallagher.
Gallagher then nudged a cross towards Mason Mount, but when Mount saw Shaw racing onto the ball, he jumped out of the way, allowing the Manchester United defender to smash a shot towards goal and tie the score for Gareth Southgate’s new-look England team.
