Following his record-breaking hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur today, Ronaldo became the FIFA record holder for the most goals scored in competitive games by a footballer, a total that unquestionably establishes him as the greatest goalscorer of all time.

But today he also met another sporting giant in the form of famed American Football quarterback Tom Brady, who is often regarded as the greatest of all time in his sport, having won the Super Bowl seven times.

After United’s 3-2 victory, the pair met on the field at Old Trafford.
