Amad has suffered an injury that will keep him out of Rangers’ forthcoming games this week, albeit the injury isn’t considered significant.
In January, the talented Manchester United forward headed north of the border on loan for the remainder of the season in order to gain additional first-team experience. His prospects had been limited at Old Trafford under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick.
Despite making a good start with a goal just five minutes into his debut, Amad has struggled recently. He was substituted at halftime as Rangers were thrashed by Old Firm rivals Celtic, and he hasn’t started any of the next four league games.
The 19-year-old will miss Wednesday’s trip to St. Johnstone as well as the weekend home game against Aberdeen. Giovanni van Bronckhorst, the manager of the Gers, has confirmed that Amad is out with four other players and will not return until next week.
“Ramsey, Davis, Amad, Jack, and Helander will not be accessible tomorrow.” “I’m hoping he [Ramsey] will join the team soon,” the Dutchman remarked.
