Paul Pogba acknowledges it is “sad” that Manchester United has yet to win a trophy as he remains tight-lipped about his future.
After leaving as a youngster, the Frenchman was bought for a club-record £89 million in 2016, but his second stint at Old Trafford has been marred by erratic performances.
His future has been played out in public over the last few seasons, driven in part by agent Mino Raiola.
Moves to Real Madrid, Juventus, and PSG have all been mentioned, and they might all happen this summer given that the player is free to depart. United have let Pogba run down his contract, with talks over a new deal currently on hold, though the player himself insists no decision has been made on his next move.

“Nothing has been determined about my future, nothing has been done,” he told Telefoot.
“I can make a decision tomorrow, just as I can during the transfer window. I want to return and finish the season strong.” He continued, saying: “The season isn’t ended yet, but it’s getting close because we don’t have any more championships to play for. I want to win titles and play for something, and we haven’t won one this year or in the prior few years. It’s heartbreaking.”
Pogba hasn’t won a trophy since helping Manchester United win the Europa League in 2017. He also won the Carabao Cup the same year but has yet to lead United to the Premier League, which they haven’t won since 2013.
The 29-year-old has struggled to find a role in Manchester, having been used in a variety of positions as managers try to find a role that will allow Pogba to replicate his form at Juventus. Injury has seen him miss out for large parts of this season, but Ralf Rangnick, the club’s interim boss, has expressed no issue with his contract situation.
He said previously: “The question is how much does he still want to be a part of this group? How much does he still feel emotionally and physically on board? As long as this is the case, why shouldn’t Paul Pogba [play] now after two and half months of injury, fully fit again now?
“By the way, my contract as a manager is also expiring in the summer. For us, we have the same goal. We have the same ambition to be as successful as we can possibly be in the next three or four months.”
