According to Tuttosport, the Frenchman is on the list of candidates being considered by the Italian giants.
They want to add another midfielder to their roster this summer after signing Denis Zakaria in January, but they want someone more forward-thinking who can work with Dusan Vlahovic.
Pogba meets the requirements and would be available on a free transfer given that his contract with Manchester United expires in the summer and there is no indication that he would be renewed.
He has a great link with Juventus as a result of his time there before returning to Old Trafford, and he has publicly expressed his affection for the club on numerous occasions.
Returning would be a ‘heartfelt decision,’ as despite being very devoted’ to the club, he would have to settle for lower pay than the €13 million he presently earns from Manchester United.
Those in power at Juventus would not go above the €7 million per year plus bonuses they’ve already offered Vlahovic, though an ‘exception’ could be made for Pogba given their friendship.
That is more likely if they part ways with Paulo Dybala, who, like the Manchester United player, has a contract expiring in the summer.
Currently, the club would prefer to spend money on a player with lower pay than on a player with higher earnings, but Pogba on a free transfer is an ‘opportunity not to be disregarded at first sight.’
This is due to their belief that the Frenchman would be a ‘certainty’ on numerous fronts, with his first tenure at the club still fresh in their minds.
