The Manchester United player, who has already competed in the competition four times, may now have his final opportunity to represent his country there. Or perhaps not.
Cristiano Ronaldo was questioned by Record today if this would be his final World Cup. The Red Devils’ forward claims that this decision has not yet been made, and he is unconcerned about what others think about it.
“I’m beginning to notice that many of you are asking the same question. Nobody else will decide my future but for myself. If I feel like playing additional games, I do; if I don’t, I don’t. “I’m the boss, end of the story.”

Ronaldo, who will captain Portugal tomorrow, has also begged for the support of the country’s fans.

Manchester United supporters will be hoping he can find the back of the net and improve his form ahead of his return to the club.
