Manchester United is investigating an incident involving Cristiano Ronaldo in which he seems to stamp on a cell phone as he walks off the field.
Ronaldo was extremely upset with his team’s performance against Everton and took his frustrations out on an object on the floor, which was supposedly a mobile phone.
According to Sky Sports, Manchester United is investigating the incident, as seen in the tweet below, which also includes a video of the incident.
Ronaldo, like the rest of his team, was definitely upset with his performance. As a result, they have only one win in seven games and are looking increasingly unlikely to qualify for the Champions League.
But all is now well because Ronaldo has explained his behavior, saying, “It’s never easy to cope with emotions in difficult circumstances like the one we’re in.”
