According to the Portugal international, Bruno Fernandes and Juan Mata are great friends, as the midfielder revealed during a Q&A with Manchester United’s in-house media.
Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United has disclosed his bromance with ‘best friend’ and veteran Juan Mata, as well as how much he has gained from working with the Spaniard.
The Portugal international joined United from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020 and quickly established himself as a star under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He has now been a fan favorite in the United camp, particularly with Mata.
We learned about the Portuguese Magnificio through questions like as his best goal, who is the greatest footballer of all time, and Fernandes’ favorite cuisine.
There will soon be talk regarding Fernandes’ contract, and we hope he signs a new agreement when offered one, but he appears to be enjoying life at the club, so I assume having Mata around helps.
“So that’s a hard one because I have a wonderful relationship with everyone, honestly,” Fernandes stated (via ManUtd.com), “but I guess I would probably select Juan [Mata] since I learn a lot from him in this two years.” He’s been someone who has made me better every day, both on and off the field. He pushed me to become a better athlete and a better person.”
While discussing his favorite Portuguese sandwich, Fernandes also stated that Cristiano Ronaldo is the best footballer of all time.
