The Serbian midfielder has been linked with a move to the Premier League, specifically Old Trafford, on numerous occasions, and this summer is expected to be no different. United’s ‘greatest concern’ ahead of the transfer window has already been identified, with Declan Rice, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Amadou Haidara all being connected.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via Football Italia), Lazio will take no less than €60 million (£50 million), with a push closer to €65 million-€70 million (£54 million-£58 million) likely. Mateja Kezman, Milinkovic-agent, Savic’s is thought to be in talks with English teams, with United being in ‘pole position.’

Meanwhile, United is thought to be stepping up its pursuit of Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo. If no new terms are agreed upon by the summer, the central defender will become a free agent, though several publications have recently suggested that he is close to signing a new contract at Camp Nou.

Despite reports that Araujo has agreed to stay at Barca, Estadio Deportivo reports Manchester United has made a ‘dizzying’ offer. Despite the addition of Champions League winner Raphael Varane last year, the club may look to strengthen their defensive alternatives this summer.
