Kane has been consistently mentioned as United’s top target for the striker position.

However, the Red Devils will face stiff opposition from Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy, who has no desire to part ways with his talisman.

According to The Athletic, United is aware of Levy’s stance, but Ten Hag is optimistic that he can land his man this summer.

“Ten Hag is said to believe United has a genuine chance of signing Kane, which explains why the manager wants football director John Murtough to at least test Levy’s resolve.”

“Some believe Tottenham’s manager, while willing to extend talks until the end of the window, must sell this summer.”

“If Levy maintains his stance, United will be willing to wait until Kane becomes a free agent in 2024 — he is not expected to sign a contract extension with Spurs.” Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have also contacted the north London club regarding their star player.”

Kane is also on Real Madrid’s radar, according to The Athletic. Los Blancos, like United, are eager for a striker following the departure of Karim Benzema to Saudi Arabia.

However, Levy’s demands may put Kane out of Real Madrid’s reach, especially after the Spanish giants spent millions to sign Jude Bellingham.

The Peoples’s Person reported on a report that Kane is getting closer to a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

According to the newspaper, the 29-year-old is open to transferring to Spain despite his desire to break Alan Shearer’s Premier League goal record.

According to AS, Madrid’s pursuit of Kane has “gone cold.” They have been put off by Levy’s exorbitant asking price. A club of Real’s prominence simply does not abandon a pursuit, so there may still be twists and turns in their plans.

However, AS has stated that, aside from the fact that his price tag is a massive €115 million, Madrid does not want to alter their transfer policy of adding young players.

Madrid’s withdrawal from the race opens the door for United, and Ten Hag can be cautiously optimistic about securing his dream target.
