PSV are interested in loaning Anthony Elanga from Manchester United.
According to Mail Sport, Ruud van Nistelrooy’s team is looking into a possible transfer for the winger.
Due to the acquisition of Antony and the breakout of 18-year-old prospect Alejandro Garnacho, the Sweden international has struggled for minutes this season.
Both Elanga and Garnacho are United academy products, but the latter has shown encouraging signs and made key goal contributions during his cameos on the pitch, which is why Erik ten Hag is hesitant to let the Argentinian go on loan.
Elanga’s development could benefit from a loan spell.
Elanga has two assists this season and hasn’t looked particularly dangerous in his appearances. Spending the rest of the season playing regular first-team football might be really beneficial to the youngster.
He would be coached by former Red and United legend Van Nistelrooy, who is considered one of the club’s most productive attackers.
