Rashford’s issues have continued this season, with his performances receiving criticism throughout the year after he was troubled by injuries last season. There were rumblings of unhappiness after Rashford was benched for the Manchester derby defeat at the Etihad, and it has now been alleged that Mikel Arteta has his sights set on the England international.

During the January transfer window, Arsenal parted ways with former captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who joined Barcelona on a free transfer. Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette are out of contract in the summer, adding to their striking woes.

According to the Mirror, Rashford might be on his way to the Emirates Stadium, where he presently has a year left on his United deal with the option to extend it. Rashford was reportedly evaluating his future after his derby snub, with Ralf Rangnick refusing to rule out a departure, according to the MEN.
