Alejandro Garnacho has been included to Manchester United’s Premier League squad for this weekend’s match against Arsenal.
The Argentine winger, who was on the bench for the first team’s loss to Liverpool earlier this week, will be back in Ralf Rangnick’s squad for Saturday’s meeting at the Emirates. Garnacho, 17, was not named to United’s U23 squad for their encounter against Arsenal on Friday evening, according to the Manchester Evening News, because he is with the senior team.
Hannibal Mejbri, who impressed with his tenacity in a cameo against Liverpool on Tuesday night, starts at Old Trafford in the youth game, implying he won’t be part of the team that travels to London this weekend. Raphael Varane and Scott McTominay have both been named to Manchester United’s squad for Saturday’s Premier League match against Arsenal.
United’s players arrived at Manchester Airport on Friday afternoon for the travel to London in preparation for Saturday’s vital match at the Emirates. Arsenal’s midweek triumph over Chelsea has boosted their position in the race for fourth, with Ralf Rangnick’s team currently three points behind the Gunners and Tottenham.
