United recently received a request for right-back Diogo Dalot from a Spanish club and informed them that they were not willing to negotiate for Dalot but would for Wan-Bissaka.

Wan-Bissaka, 24, was told last month that he was not in manager Erik ten Hag’s plans, whereas Dalot is. Brandon Williams, a right-footed full-back, is also up for sale.

Crystal Palace are interested in re-signing Wan-Bissaka, who has only started seven times under interim manager Ralf Rangnick.

United value Dalot at roughly €25 million, and until a fee in that range is given, he will be a part of their squad next season.

Over the last year, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Atletico Madrid have all expressed interest in Dalot. If United had signed Kieran Trippier, Jose Mourinho, the coach of Roma, was also planning a move for the Portuguese.

In December, Dalot replaced Wan-Bissaka as United’s starting right-back, and the Portugal international started 19 Premier League games.

Former United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer chose Wan-Bissaka as his second signing in a deal for up to £50 million in 2019, although the Norwegian and his team had their sights set on Trippier last year after being disappointed with Wan-attacking Bissaka’s productivity.

Wan-Bissaka, who was born in Croydon, has had some difficulties settling in the north of England.
