Manchester United fans adored Anthony Elanga’s post-match celebrations after his team’s 4-2 victory over Leeds United.

In the final minutes, the second-half substitute put the game beyond doubt by slotting past Illan Meslier to restore United’s two-goal lead.

But that wasn’t the only incident in the game for the Sweden international, who had earlier been struck by an object thrown from the crowd while celebrating Fred’s goal.

But, with the points secured, Elanga, 19, stood in front of the opposition supporters, looking them down before pointing to the United logo and then the ground.

Fans were ecstatic with their young star’s reaction to the victory.

The victory was crucial for United, as it gave them some breathing room from the top-four chasers.

Arsenal and Tottenham both defeated Brentford and Manchester City, respectively, to keep the pressure on Ralf Rangnick’s side.

However, for the interim head coach, the victory not only makes them three wins in a row, but it also puts them four points ahead of nearest rivals West Ham.

The two north London clubs are four and six points behind the Reds, respectively, with three games in hand.
