World Cup Fight – Watch as Samuel Eto’o knees World Cup supporter in face outside Qatar stadium

Samuel Eto’o seemed to lash out at a World Cup fan who was photographing him outside a stadium in Qatar. The former Barcelona and Inter Milan striker, who was regarded as one of the best players of his generation, appeared enraged after the individual in question said something to him. After seeing Brazil defeat South Korea 4-1 at Stadium 974, the former Cameroon international got embroiled in the brawl.

Eto’o has been attending matches in Qatar and stood on the field with FIFA president Gianni Infantino prior to Switzerland’s 1-0 win over Cameroon earlier in the tournament.

He’s now making news for all the wrong reasons after appearing to react aggressively to a fan photographing him.

The Football Federation president was questioned by a fan, and La Opinion later published a video of the exchange. The video begins pleasantly enough, with Eto’o looking to be in a good mood as he posed for photos with excited football fans.

But things quickly went downhill when Eto’o became enraged when a fan approached him with a camera and asked him questions.

In retaliation, the Cameroon striker seemed to knee the man, with his entourage attempting to pull the camera away from the fan.

Eto’o handed his phone to a buddy and then charged at the man, hitting him in the face with his right knee and knocking him to the ground.

Those present to see the uproar then hauled him away.

Eto’o was reportedly asked what caused him to respond in such a way, but he refused to elaborate.

The Cameroon legend is now likely to be the target of an investigation, and what happens next remains to be seen.

The event occurred after Brazil easily defeated South Korea to go to the World Cup quarterfinals.

They took the lead in the seventh minute thanks to Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr, who converted a penalty six minutes later.

Later in the first half, Richarlison scored his third goal of the tournament, and Lucas Paqueta completed the thrashing.

South Korea’s Paik Seung-ho grabbed one back in the second half, but it wasn’t enough, and his team was eliminated from the competition.

Tite, Brazil’s manager, sparked outrage by dancing with his team as they slaughtered their opponents.

After the competition, he addressed his questionable maneuvers, saying, “You have to learn how to do the moves.” And the movements are quite tight.”
