According to Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha (today’s edition, page 12), Manchester United are eyeing goalkeeper Diogo Costa with a view to a possible move next summer.
David de Gea has been an undisputed goalkeeper for the Red Devils over the last decade, but his future beyond this season is uncertain.
His current £375,000-a-week contract expires in June next year and United are reluctant to take up the option to keep him for another 12 months.

De Gea is willing to take a pay cut to sign a new contract, but the final decision will be left to Erik ten Hag, who prefers a goalkeeper who is strong on his feet.
For their part, Porto will demand a €60 million fee for Costa after qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League.
According to Correio da Manha, the Red Devils have expressed interest in Costa and could seek his services if Ten Hag decides not to sign De Gea.
The report adds that the club are in contact with his agent Jorge Mendes and have asked him to keep them informed of any offers.
