The Red Devils have exited all cup competitions this season, and their main focus is now on finishing in the top four of the Premier League.

That, in and of itself, could be problematic, with Arsenal currently four points ahead and a game in hand remaining.

But, with the international break starting this week, United can afford to plan for next season for the time being.

With that in mind, we’ve compiled a list of the most recent transfer rumors.

Rumors about Harry Maguire

Could Manchester United split ways with Harry Maguire due to his poor form? Maguire has struggled this season, with the Red Devils still dealing with defensive concerns that they intended to address with the arrival of Raphael Varane in the summer.

United, who paid £80 million for Maguire in 2019, may now be willing to sell him, according to Fichajes, as they aim to overhaul their squad.

‘Agreed’ on the Akanji transaction

According to Fichajes, United has completed a deal for Borussia Dortmund player Manuel Akanji.

The Red Devils are said to have already ‘locked up’ a deal for the center-back, who might be available for a decent price before his contract expires in 2023.

United have been widely associated with Akanji in recent weeks, and if he were to replace Maguire, he could save the club a significant amount of money, estimated to be around £25 million.

Henderson’s enthusiasm

Goalkeeper Dean Henderson, who has fallen down the pecking order this season, is another current United player who has been linked with a move abroad.

Henderson played alongside David De Gea last season, but he has seen limited action since the Spaniard’s return to form.

According to reports, the England international will leave this summer, with Tottenham keen, according to the Daily Mirror.
