Cristiano Ronaldo, the Manchester United legend, had several high-profile summer deals fall through, but Portugal's all-time leading goalscorer may have finally found his next club.

The Manchester United legend, 37, has scored just one Premier League goal for the Red Devils this season after having his game time drastically reduced by new manager Erik ten Hag. With a decent 24 goals last season, Ronaldo was one of the few to escape with credit from a disastrous season that saw United finish sixth and almost miss out on Europa League football.

However, the experienced forward has struggled to capture Ten Hag’s attention and is believed to push for a move away from Old Trafford in January.

Ronaldo was determined to leave Manchester United in the summer transfer window in order to compete in the Champions League for the 20th consecutive season, but deals with Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Sporting Lisbon, and Napoli all fell through.

However, according to a friend’s biography, as reported by L’Equipe, Ronaldo has picked his next club, where he may even line up alongside an old opponent.

When translated, the biography says, “The door is open.” “The club could only fill the stadium with Portuguese from the Paris region. I saw myself good in front of 50,000 Portuguese at Parc des Princes. That would be fantastic.”

Christophe Galtier’s star-studded roster already boasts an abundance of attacking potential, including Kylian Mbappe, Neymar Jr, and seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi. With a total of 45 goals this season, Ronaldo is unlikely to dislodge any of Paris’ forwards.

Even so, it could be a match made in heaven. Ronaldo’s love of the Champions League has seen him win the ‘Big Ears’ trophy five times, while the Ligue 1 giants are still looking for their first serious European title.
