According to today’s edition of AS (news image provided below), the Real Madrid superstar is very enticed by the Red Devils’ offer.

According to a well-known Spanish news outlet, Manchester United has proposed a five-year contract that will pay the midfielder a net income of more than £34 million (40 million euros).

Casemiro is now in a difficult situation. United’s offer is so enticing that it ensures the player and his family’s security for “decades.”

On the other side, accepting such a deal means foregoing immediate sporting glory for the Brazilian international.

Moving to Old Trafford would entail switching from the Champions League to the Europa League, which is a difficult decision for someone who is already a European Champion and has won the continent’s flagship competition five times.

According to AS, the situation must be handled as soon as possible. If Casemiro agrees to leave, Real Madrid will seek a sum of at least £68 million (80 million euros) to do so.

The Samba star is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, but Los Blancos have already planned for the future by recruiting youngsters like Camavinga and Tchouameni, who can play in the DM position well.

Ten Hag does not have a specialist holding midfielder at Old Trafford, and someone like Casemiro will significantly strengthen the squad. However, the question is whether Manchester United should spend £68 million on a player who will turn 31 next year.
