Interim manager Ralf Rangnick has been unable to inspire a significant turnaround. As a result, United faces finishing outside the top four in the Premier League.

Nonetheless, Manchester United has high hopes for the summer transfer season in order to give Ten Hag a bright start.

According to reports, a top new striker acquisition is on their radar. While Ronaldo is still performing admirably, the 37-year-old is nearing the conclusion of his career.

According to The Sun, United and Ten Hag are interested in Ivory Coast international Haller.

Ten Hag signed the former West Ham player in January 2021 after he failed to make an impression in the Premier League. Haller, on the other hand, has lit up the Eredivisie and the Champions League since moving across Europe.

The 27-year-old has 46 goals in 62 Ajax appearances, including 33 in 39 this season. Eleven of those came in eight Champions League games, with Haller scoring in every game during the group stage.

According to The Sun, he has three years left on his deal with the Dutch giants and would cost £35 million.

United are apparently interested in Haller because they cannot afford Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

Ten Hag’s transfer to Old Trafford was recently discussed by Haller. He stated that the manager’s performance “depends on the dressing room,” noting that the atmosphere at United differs drastically from that at Ajax.

Ten Hag’s “quality” of his tight-knit dressing room may become a “weakness” in the atmosphere he finds himself in in Manchester, according to the striker.

Nonetheless, Haller stated that he is “grateful” to Ten Hag for signing him and bringing out the best in him.

The striker stated that he “understands how brilliant” Ten Hag is tactically and urged the manager to “follow his heart, his brain, and make the right decision.”

In addition to a striker, United is rumored to be looking for a new center-back and a midfielder this summer.

As a result, it might be a hectic transfer window at Old Trafford, with both fresh signings and exits.
