Erik ten Hag earlier delivered a harsh assessment of Manchester United’s treatment of midfielder Donny van de Beek.

Van de Beek made the Ballon d’Or shortlist of 30 players while playing for Ajax under Ten Hag. His impressive showing in Holland won him a big-money move to Manchester United, but things didn’t go as planned at Old Trafford, and he’s currently on loan at Everton until the end of the season.

And Ten Hag was dissatisfied with how the midfielder was treated at United, where the Dutch coach had an interview this week to perhaps become the club’s next manager. It comes as rumors say that Manchester United has made a ‘double-your-money’ offer to a center-back who may be Harry Maguire’s replacement.

And, after getting called up to Argentina’s national team, United wonderkid Alejandro Garnach has spoken out about playing alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Alejandro Garnach, a Manchester United wunderkind, has trained with Argentina’s national team for the first time, alongside Lionel Messi.

Argentina promptly signed Garnach, 17, to their national team, with the child also eligible to represent Spain after been born in Madrid to a Spanish father and an Argentine mother. Garnach is now in the unique position of having trained alongside both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, and his words following his most recent training session appear to reveal which of the two he idolizes.

Ten Hag’s critical assessment
Manchester United, according to Erik ten Hag, committed a “grave sin” in their treatment of former Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek.

Following a “good” interview with United executives earlier this week, the Ajax manager has emerged as the favorite to take over at Old Trafford this summer. Ten Hag’s presence at United could revitalize Van de Beek’s career after the two had an extremely effective stint together in Holland.

Ten Hag, on the other hand, was enraged by the chances Van de Beek discovered once he arrived at Old Trafford.

Manchester United is apparently looking to quadruple the salaries of Barcelona center-back Ronald Araujo in order to entice him to join the Old Trafford club.

The Uruguayan is considered to be a potential replacement for Manchester United captain Harry Maguire, who has struggled for consistency this season. And, with United planning a major makeover of their squad during the forthcoming transfer window, Araujo is apparently being considered as a possible target.

The defender’s contract with Barcelona is set to expire at the conclusion of next season, which means United might be in for a steal.
